INGALLS EAST BANK REVITALIZATION

MP was hired for design, engineering and administrative services over the $120 million revitalization of Ingalls East Bank. The reactivation, completed in 2020, restored the facility’s ability to support Ingalls’ current ship construction and  modernization programs as well as help the company  better prepare for future work, including next-generation amphibious assault ships and surface  combatants. The primary component of the project  includes the addition of large, covered construction  areas for construction of ship assemblies and  components as well as the restoration of an  outfitting pier.

The project includes covered unit construction  facilities with a covered production floor and  elevated bathroom facility. An Elevated Compressor  Station, Gas Plant, and Propylene Station; a  Communications Building, Main Electrical Substation  (15KV) , 5 unit Substations, 500,000 Gallon Fire  Water Tank, 5,000 + LF Underground and Trench. The  Trench will include mounted production gases and  utilities. A 3500 +LF underground concrete electrical  duct. A 28' wide by 6'' thick asphalt over 12'' stone  aggregate circulation road, drives and access points  and over 1,100 gravel car parking lots.
